Responsible for overall operations of Atrax Group, both in NZ and around the world. Since Airport work is so important to the company I spend a lot of my time focussed in this area. I am proud of the team of professionals that surround me at Atrax and thrive on the challenge of helping our clients to grow, our people to grow and expanding our business. I joined Atrax in 1986 after spending seven years with NZ Defence Research studying electronics design and support. My interests include travelling, boating, scuba diving and cycling.

My main role is to provide a link between my clients and our design, manufacture and
installation teams and ensure that clients have what they need from Atrax in a professional and timely manner.  As a graduate engineer who has spent over 25 years in technical sales, I like to be responsive and serve client needs to the best of my ability.  Included in my experience prior to Atrax were a number of years with a baggage handling integrator.  Married with four children, I enjoy travel, watching rugby and football (soccer) and, with my wife, playing cards with friends.

I control and co-ordinate all new product design for the company including any application engineering required to ensure a perfect fit of our products to your airport project. To better understand the airports we serve I often supervise the site installation and commissioning of our equipment.  I joined the New Zealand Air Force as an Avionics Engineer and enjoyed extensive in-house training and support during full-time tertiary studies. I joined Atrax in 1996. I enjoy reading, travelling, model aircraft, boating and diving.

My role encompasses management of finance and administration and more recently has expanded to include responsibility for the Auckland manufacturing operation.

Prior to joining Atrax in 2006 I spent over 25 years in senior finance management roles  in companies within a large building supply Group before spending time contracting and  then  5 years as Executive Office of the Wall and Ceiling Association of NZ. My life time interest has yachting and I am now looking forward to getting back on the water after spending some years following my daughter to pony club events.

Ensuring our clients get the highest level of support is my primary responsibility.  I liaise between our clients and our design, manufacture and installation teams. I have extensive experience in Sales Support and Account Management. I enjoy spending time with my family.
